Alfred Benesch & Company (“Benesch”) has become aware of recruitment fraud targeting members of our industry and wants to warn potential candidates, should someone attempt to initiate such a fraud using the Benesch name.
Benesch personnel conduct all e-mail communication through a company e-mail address that ends with “@benesch.com.” We do not use any other version of our company name as our e-mail address and we do not use free webmail accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail or any other general e-mail address.
All legitimate job opportunities are posted through the Careers page of the Benesch company website. If you are contacted via LinkedIn or other social media site by someone who appears to work at Benesch, you should ask the person to provide their business e-mail address, which should be their name and end in “@benesch.com.”
If you are unsure about a recruitment attempt, you may contact Benesch at HR@benesch.com to verify whether a recruitment contact is legitimate.
Finally, Benesch only extends offers of employment after a comprehensive interview process, which includes meeting a hiring manager in person. Benesch does not conduct interviews using any chat platform. Benesch will not ask you for a payment of any sort or offer you payment for any reason. Benesch will also never request personal information, such as a social security number, birth date, banking information or other financial information, until after a legitimate offer of employment has been extended.
