Transit Event Customer Service
Transit Ambassador
Work with Benesch! Our partner is seeking people to work on an on-call basis in the Baltimore area as Transit Ambassadors and make a positive impact on the community and the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA). This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for temporary employment to supplement their income when work is available.
Transit Ambassadors are trained to assist MTA customers with disabilities to ensure that all clients are able to equally utilize the transit facilities. They will be asked to provide assistance such as directing customers as they enter or exit stations, board vehicles, or use fare vending machines. All Transit Ambassadors are trained to inspect the transit station facilities and take action to preserve the cleanliness and safety of all public areas. Another key responsibility is to provide customer service support with bus bridges/shuttles while construction is being done to the transit tracks or stations and during road construction resulting in bus detours.
