Our Southeast Region is looking to add an Assistant Marketing Manager to provide critical support in the oversight and management of all marketing functions and assist in the coaching and development of regional team members. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will independently manage the submission of high-profile pursuits and lead targeted initiatives for the region. Assistant Managers will also ensure all marketing-related functions are consistent with the Benesch brand, are of high written and graphic quality and are executed efficiently. This is an exempt position.

The Impact You Will Have
  • Demonstrate a high level of competency and responsibility while serving as a secondary point of contact for the region’s marketing needs.
  • Lead key communication and marketing planning initiatives in support of a wide range of strategic and client-focused initiatives, including procurement, major project pursuits, capture planning processes and other research-related projects as needed.
  • Monitor and elevate quality of standard proposals and all other marketing materials to ensure effective strategic messaging, high quality writing and graphics, and alignment with company brand.
  • Track and manage award submission applications, prequalification submittals, and coordination of conference/career fairs/tradeshows and all required materials.
  • Assist with internal Business Development material preparation and managing the BD pipeline in Vantagepoint.
  • Identify marketing photography needs and execute coordination of photography with outside vendors.
  • Coach presentation teams and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support the development of internal team members via training and coaching as needed.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or related degree required.
  • Membership in professional societies preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong graphic capabilities—must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in CRM system with ability to extract and analyze BD data.
  • Thorough understanding of Business Development KPIs and how they are used to inform business decisions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Benesch’s services with in-depth knowledge of local markets
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and stay organized.
