The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will develop relationships with candidates and Hiring Managers, to drive successful recruitment strategies to meet the needs of the business. This is a significant role for the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, as it will be the first point of contact for external and internal talent. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and can take a proactive approach and effectively prioritize work to ensure the best service. This individual will be joining a talented team of 7 collaborative TA professionals who are dedicated to finding top talent in our industry and improving the candidate experience. This position manages the recruiting activities for multiple divisions within a region. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent skills in relationship building, and 5+ years of experience supporting multiple locations with full-cycle recruiting.
Location
The Talent Acquisition team enjoys a hybrid work schedule with the option to work from home 3 days a week and from our downtown Chicago corporate office the remaining 2 days.
The Impact You Will Have
- Build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with members of the hiring process
- Manage the sourcing, recruitment, selection, and offer process for assigned positions/region
- Communicate recruitment updates through consistent communication and reporting
- Research and utilize creative sourcing techniques and search strategies to build a vast pipeline of active and passive talent
- Successfully facilitate or assist with the facilitation of a seamless structured interview process.
- Collaborate with the hiring team to incorporate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) best practices into the company's talent acquisition process
- Manage communication with engaged candidates throughout the entire process
- Provide various training, recommendations, and best practices to hiring managers
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years recruiting experience and a minimum of 2+ years in the Engineering Consulting Industry.
- Knowledge of federal/state laws and regulations regarding Affirmative Action, EEO policies, and related in the areas of hiring and pre-employment practices.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and features
- Strong writing and communication skills as well as analytical and time management skills
- Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to anticipate consequences of policies, procedures, and actions
