November 2016 – A major railroad bridge project designed by Benesch in Monroe, MI, has been featured in the November issue of Modern Steel Construction Magazine. The new, four-span Norfolk Southern Railway bridge, which crosses the River Raisin, replaces a deteriorated, three-span truss structure. The bridge itself is a key link along a busy freight rail line between Toledo and Detroit that is vital to supplying the regional auto industry. Benesch led the overall bridge design, as well as survey, inspection, hydraulic analysis and environmental permitting assistance. To read more about this project success story, click here.
