John’s work with MathCOUNTS, where his focus is getting young kids excited about math. As the Anthracite Chapter Coordinator he manages several fundraisers throughout the year to support the program—directly out of Benesch’s Pottsville office—and benefits from the volunteer efforts of his coworkers for various events. At the end of each year, his Mathletes are honored for their accomplishments at the MathCOUNTS awards banquet.
