Brewster Field Aircraft Hangar

Benesch was contracted by the Holdrege Airport Authority to construct three new bay aircraft storage hangars with 60′ wide bi-fold doors. Benesch also provided services for the construction of a new 25-foot wide, six-inch thick PCC taxi lane from existing apron to new hangar on four-inch prepared aggregate base course. Benesch was responsible for geotechnical investigation, design, bidding, construction observation, and material acceptance testing services. A subconsultant provided electrical building system design.
