Benesch assisted ECU in the development of the North Recreational Complex, a unique 133-acre athletic complex for intramural sports. The master plan called for four rugby fields, eight soccer fields, four multi-purpose fields, skate park (designed by others), trails, decorative ponds, multi-purpose recreation center, maintenance buildings, restroom/picnic buildings, frisbee golf course, and challenge course. The scope of services provided by Benesch included master planning, detailed design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration for all phases of project development.
