Working with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Mecklenburg County Parks & Recreation and Solid Waste departments, Benesch developed a new elementary school and park site with the full elementary program utilizing the planned park for joint use of fields, parking and play. Benesch provided site design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration not only for this elementary school, but also for the adjacent athletic complex and road improvements.
