The I-95 Widening & Systems Interchange Design-Build project will transform the I-95 corridor throughout Volusia County with entirely new interchanges, construction of 18 bridges, and numerous landscaping features.
Continuously coordinating with the public through informational workshops for directly affected areas; creating a monthly newsletter which informs the community of upcoming construction activities and interesting project milestones; and producing notices concerning detours, lane closures, noise, and general construction updates are just some of the several tasks that Public Involvement handles.
The team also assists the FDOT Project Manager with routine day-to-day tasks and serves as the first line of contact for the public. Benesch also serves as the Government Liaison for the Community Aesthetics Features (CAF) group which developed a Aesthetics Master Plan for a proposed gateway, symbolic of Daytona Beach.
