The Indian Lake Sports Complex was one of the first tournament level softball complexes to be developed in eastern North Carolina. Benesch worked with the Town of Tarboro on the master plan and construction implementation for this 75-acre district park. The master plan called for construction of four softball fields, a baseball field, two soccer fields, tennis courts, and picnic and playground facilities.
