Robert C. Bradford Park

Bradford Park serves the Towns of Huntersville, Davidson, and Cornelius. This 210-acre park provides three soccer fields, four lighted softball fields, a lighted baseball field, 2,700 SF picnic and restroom facility, walking trails, playground, and concession and storage facility. The fields have a totally “skinned” (sand/clay) surface to allow fields to be used for baseball and softball. The infield arc has been sized to accommodate a variety of age groups. Base path distances are also adjustable. Covered dugouts provide shaded seating for players. A covered picnic/restroom building provides a shaded picnic area for spectators. Benesch provided master planning, public involvement, detailed design, permitting and construction administration. Since its opening, Bradford Park has hosted numerous softball and baseball tournaments.
