Town of Stallings

Stallings Municipal Park

Stallings, NC

The Town of Stallings completed their vision for this existing downtown park through a series of design renovations provided by Benesch. The first phase of the park included a new interactive fountain centered in a plaza as a focal point of the park. In addition, there is a formal green with arbors, pavilions, restrooms, picnic tables, new playground areas and a band shell for concerts with an improved lawn seating area/recreation area.

The second phase of the park included additional playground areas, parking, and a picnic shelter with restrooms and storage. Stormwater quality treatment was also incorporated into the design to accommodate both the phase one and phase two improvements. The final phase expanded the walking trail through a wooded area of the park, including a boardwalk and interpretive area and corn hole playing area with permanent boards.
