Alex Bernhardson is an Assistant Project Manager at Benesch with experience leading the planning, design, bidding, permitting and construction of aviation infrastructure projects across the United States. His experience includes FAA, Department of Defense (DoD) and privately funded Fixed Base Operator (FBO) projects at both commercial service and general aviation airports. Alex’s technical expertise spans runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, signage, pavement markings, hangars, grading and drainage improvements.
Alex serves as Engineer of Record for aviation projects across multiple states and manages a large portfolio of active construction projects. He also serves as Atlantic Aviation’s primary civil engineering consultant for airside and landside improvements across its nationwide network of FBO facilities. His experience includes all phases of project delivery, from preliminary planning and design through bidding and construction.
