How Benesch Secures Your Information

How Long Does Benesch Retains Your PII
We retain PII we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your PII, we will either delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your PII has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your PII and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use PII from children under 13 years of age, and no part of our website is directed to children under the age of 13. If you learn that your child has provided us with PII without your consent, you may alert us at privacy@benesch.com. If we learn that we have collected any PII from children under 13, we will promptly take steps to delete such information and terminate the child’s account.
