With more than three decades of experience spanning architecture, technology and executive leadership, Huw has spent his career at the intersection of the built environment and technology. As an external board director at Benesch, he provides expertise in business, software, technology and artificial intelligence to support the firm’s governance and strategic direction.
Huw began his career as a practicing architect before transitioning to enterprise software, where he advanced through product management, global business development and executive leadership roles. He previously served as CEO of GRAPHISOFT, a Nemetschek Group company, and PMWEB, leading global software businesses through periods of significant growth and transformation. His career also includes senior global leadership roles with Bentley Systems, BlueCielo and Accruent. Huw’s experience spans North America, Europe and Asia, having directed operations in more than 100 countries.
Huw has held several board and industry leadership positions throughout his career. He previously served as an independent director of BSA | The Software Alliance and chaired subsidiary boards within the GRAPHISOFT group. He also chaired the American Institute of Architects’ Technology in Practice Committee and currently serves as a strategic advisor to the PMWEB board.
