With more than three decades of industry experience, George is known for his expert abilities in project management, operations and planning, with a focus on bridge engineering and alternative delivery methods. George joined Benesch in 2005 and currently serves as the firm’s Chief Growth Officer. In this role, he leads Benesch’s strategic growth initiatives and supports the long-term success of the company.
Prior to serving as Chief Growth Officer, George was the firm’s Director of Alternative Delivery. In that role, George led the pursuit of new project opportunities in this growing market and developed process standards for delivering this work. He has cultivated strong relationships with contractors and national teaming partners, and has worked to elevate the Benesch brand across the country. George’s tenure at Benesch also includes 12 years as our Lehigh Division Manager. Under his leadership, the Division nearly doubled in size and consistently met revenue, profit and sales goals, all while expanding our client base and increasing technical resources. He has also served on several internal committees at Benesch, including the Strategic Planning Committee, Governance Committee, and Leadership Transition Committee.
George’s industry organization involvement includes previous positions on the Board of a local chapter of ASCE, ASHE and the IBC Planning Committee of the ESWP.
