Colin Forbes Named Michigan Division Manager

DETROIT, MI – Benesch is pleased to announce that Colin Forbes, PE, has joined Benesch as our new Michigan Division Manager. Colin brings over 30 years of experience and a demonstrated track record of leadership in the transportation engineering sector.

“We are incredible excited to have Colin on board to lead the Division,” said North Regional Manager Elizabeth Gallagher. “His extensive experience with the Michigan Department of Transportation, as well as the counties, municipalities and other local agencies within the Detroit Metro area and beyond, will be invaluable as we continue to grow our practice in this region.”

Prior to joining Benesch, Colin served as the Deputy Region Engineer at the Michigan Department of Transportation’s Detroit Metro Region Office. In this role, he was instrumental in directing strategic plans, policies, programs and procedures for the Metro Region. He led the Metro Region Leadership Team and played a key role in several significant projects, including managing the $1.4 billion I-75 Segment 3 P3 and supporting the contract development of the Gordie Howe International Bridge.

As Michigan Division Manager, Colin will guide the operations and business development efforts of our offices throughout the state. The Division will continue to grow its successful transportation practice while remaining dedicated to helping municipal clients find innovative solutions that improve nearly every part of their community.
