Dan Gross Earns National ASCE Construction Management Award

CHICAGO, IL – Dan Gross, Construction Group Manager for the Illinois Division, has been selected by the American Society of Civil Engineers to receive the 2023 Construction Management Award in recognition of his service to the industry and his exceptional leadership on some of the most complex, impactful construction projects in the country.

The award is given annually to a nominee who has made outstanding contributions to the field of construction management as a practitioner, educator or researcher.

Throughout his 40-year career, Gross has contributed to numerous high profile, complex and award-winning projects including Chicago’s Riverwalk, the 130th & Torrence Grade Separation, and the Wacker Drive and Congress Interchange Reconstruction. His expertise has been critical to the success of these projects and so many others.

In 2022, Dan was named ASCE-IL’s Construction Engineering Person of the Year, which made him eligible to receive the national award. Dan was presented with the award during the society’s Construction Institute Summit on March 4.
