Chris Bentz Named Pennsylvania Division Manager
POTTSVILLE, PA – Benesch is pleased to announce that Chris Bentz, PE, has been named the company’s next Pennsylvania Division Manager. A dedicated member of the Benesch Team since 1992, Chris combines technical expertise with the organizational discipline and interpersonal skills required to lead large-scale multidisciplinary teams. He steps into this role after several years leading one of the largest teams at Benesch, the Pennsylvania Division’s Civil Group.

Over the course of his 34-year career, Chris has led a wide range of multi-million-dollar transportation, infrastructure improvement, land development, and municipal engineering projects across Pennsylvania. His contributions on major PennDOT projects in various PennDOT Districts and the PA Turnpike Commission demonstrate his capacity to oversee our Pennsylvania clients’ most complex projects. For the Mountain Valley Logistics Industrial Park, he oversaw the coordination of site design for two industrial spec buildings totaling 2.5-million-square-feet, as well as all associated environmental permitting, utility coordination, a packaged sewer treatment plant, and PennDOT highway occupancy permitting across 540 acres.
Beyond his project work and Group Manager role, Chris serves as Associate Director for the Schuylkill County Conservation District and Chairman of the Schuylkill County Chamber Transportation Committee. He is also active with the American Society of Highway Engineers and American Council of Engineering Companies.
As Pennsylvania Division Manager, Chris will oversee the operations and business development efforts of our offices in Allentown, King of Prussia, Pittsburgh, Pottsville and Wilkes-Barre.
