Tony Dirks Named ACEC-NE President

LINCOLN, NE – Lincoln Division Manager Tony Dirks has been elected as the American Council of Engineering Companies Nebraska Chapter (ACEC-NE) Board President. Tony has been an active member of the organization for over 10 years and has served in various positions on the board of directors, along  with participating in the NDOT Committee and the Lincoln Engineering Partnership (LEP) Committee.

“It is an absolute honor to be serving as President of ACEC-NE. We are very fortunate to have such talented ACEC-NE staff and great leadership from past presidents,” said Dirks. “As I enter the role, we are in a great position to serve our membership, and I am really looking forward to this coming year.”

As president, Tony will support the board and overall organization as they focus on political advocacy, workforce development and expanding their mentorship program.

Dirks joined Benesch in 2013 and has over 20 years of professional experience. In addition to leading the business development and operations for the Lincoln Division, he is also responsible for design and management of several transportation projects.
