Benesch Brings on Fair Dermody Consulting Engineers to Expand Rail Services in the Northeast

PORTLAND, ME — Fair Dermody Consulting Engineers (FDCE), a Maine-based engineering firm specializing in heavy transportation infrastructure design and repair, joins Benesch this week. FDCE is now part of Benesch’s Railroad Division and brings with it our first office in the state of Maine.
“We’re excited to have FDCE join our national rail team. Their expertise will help us continue to provide exceptional engineering services to rail clients across the country,” said Benesch’s Railroad Division Manager Steve Lorek.
Benesch has worked with every Class I railroad and numerous short lines, regional and commuter railroads across the United States and Canada. FDCE brings expertise in the inspection and design of railroad tracks, bridges, support structures, yards and roadbeds, bolstering Benesch’s ability to provide practical, buildable solutions that maximize budgets, safeguard the environment and keep trains moving.
