Civil Group Manager

At Benesch, we’re shaping the infrastructure that supports growing communities across Wisconsin. We’re seeking an experienced Civil Group Manager to lead and expand our Wisconsin Civil Design practice.

Location

This full-time hybrid role is based in any of our three offices, with in-office collaboration expected at least three days per week. Visits to all WI offices expected monthly at a minimum.

As Group Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for our Civil design practice while helping shape divisional and regional growth.

Freeway and Major Arterial projects
Local road and street improvement projects
Alternative Delivery projects
Roundabout and Safety Improvement projects
Bike and Pedestrian facilities
Railway coordination

Required Qualifications

Professional Engineer licensure in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 3 months)
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
15+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
Significant experience leading civil design projects for public and/or private sector clients
Demonstrated success developing client relationships and winning new work
Strong understanding of Wisconsin regulatory agencies and permitting processes
Expertise in project financial management, budgeting, QA/QC, and resource planning
Experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary engineering teams
