Location
This full-time role is based in our Pottsville office, with in-office collaboration expected at least three days per week. Collaboration and Coordination with the PA Division’s four other offices and group managers is expected.

As Group Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for our Pottsville Civil design practice while helping shape divisional and regional growth.

Impact you will have
- They provide direction regarding daily operations within the group, implement plans and policies to achieve overall objectives, and ensure compliance with our mission and vision.
- Monitors their group for compliance with financial objectives, including chargeability, net revenue, profit and overhead, and project performance.
- Coordinates workloads in Pottsville office and facilitates inter office and cross-division work-sharing when appropriate.
- Identifies staffing needs and leads recruitment efforts with the assistance of the Talent Acquisition team.
- Develops and executes a strategy to attract, hire, develop, and retain diverse candidates.
- Initiates or maintains relationships with prospective and existing clients as a trusted advisor who liaises between clients and the business and maintains an extensive and well-established network of contacts in the sectors the company serves.
- Researches, reviews, and recommends new market areas to achieve both geographic and discipline diversification.
- Facilitate and strengthen interoffice coordination with other Group Managers and Project Mangers throughout PA.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer licensure in Pennsylvania
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline
- Progressive civil engineering experience and leading teams and groups
- Significant experience leading civil design projects for public and/or private sector clients
- Demonstrated success developing client relationships and winning new work
- Strong understanding of Pennsylvania regulatory agencies and permitting processes
- Expertise in project financial management, budgeting, QA/QC, and resource planning
- Experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong communication, organization, people management skills, business development skills, and leadership skills with a track record of understanding and adhering to contractual requirements
- Participate in local civic and professional organizations such as, ASHE, ACEC, and APC and similar professional organizations to promote the Company
