Structural Assessment Group Manager

We have a career opportunity to hire an experienced Structural Assessment Group Manager in our Colorado Division. This position offers opportunities to work with local agencies and DOTs on a variety of complex structural projects involving bridge inspection, minors/ancillary inspections, structures design, bridge rehabilitation. 

The most successful candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer and have significant experience in client development and pursuing, managing and providing structural engineering services for public agencies, including DOTs, counties, and municipalities. As a Group Manager, team building and management are also essential requirements. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated to begin assuming management responsibilities.

Location

This position offers flexibility within the Front Range of Colorado. Benesch is expanding our Colorado division, and we welcome candidates from diverse areas including but not limited to Greeley, Fort Collins, Johnstown, in addition to the Denver Metro area.

The Impact You Will Have
  • Manage and grow the Colorado Division Structural Assessment Group, including the design, inspection, and rehabilitation service lines
  • Manage project teams, accountable for staffing, budget, and schedule
  • Contribute to local, regional, and corporate strategic growth initiatives including the expansion of structural assessment services across the country
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients
  • Represent Benesch at industry and professional engagement events
  • Identify opportunities and lead strategic project pursuits
  • Collaborate on regional growth strategy
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
What We Are Looking For
  • BSCE or related degree
  • Professional Engineer licensure in Colorado
  • Experience working with the CDOT (Staff Bridge), various CDOT Divisions, and/or local agencies
  • Experience with providing Bridge inspection services
  • Progressive experience working directly with clients developing relationships, with proven ability to win work
  • Excellent communication, business development, project management, and client relation skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills with a track record for understanding and adhering to contractual requirements
  • Ability to lead, manage, mentor, and grow a dynamic team
  • Strong understanding of project financials and Vision reporting; maintaining compliance with Division and project financial objectives including chargeability, profit, overhead, etc.
  • Participate in local civic and professional organizations such as the chamber of commerce, ACEC, ASCE to promote the Company

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.

Colorado Pay Range

$55$70 USD
