Benesch is pleased to share an internal leadership opportunity for a North Regional Manager to support the long-term strategic growth of the organization while directing operations and business development across our Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Connecticut Divisions.
The North Regional Manager will partner closely with the Chief Growth Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Division Managers to advance regional strategy, drive operational excellence, and support continued business growth. This role provides leadership across daily operations, business development, and long-range strategic planning while ensuring alignment with Benesch’s mission, vision, and organizational objectives. Serving as a trusted advisor to Division Managers, the North Regional Manager will help guide operational plans, strengthen collaboration, and support teams in achieving strong outcomes for both the company and our clients.

Location
This role supports offices throughout the North Region, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Regional travel is expected to maintain alignment with teams and clients.
The Impact You Will Have
- Provide leadership and strategic direction across the North Region in alignment with company goals
- Partner with Division Managers to support operational performance, team development, and regional growth
- Collaborate with executive leadership to help shape strategy and drive key initiatives forward
- Support business development efforts by strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities for expansion
- Foster collaboration across offices and disciplines to improve communication and consistency
- Provide mentorship and leadership support that strengthens Benesch’s culture and long-term success
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrated leadership experience within Benesch and understanding of our business, culture, and operational structure
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across teams and leadership levels
- Experience supporting growth initiatives, client engagement, or business development activities
- Strategic thinker who can balance operational priorities with long-term planning
- Strong communication skills and the ability to guide teams through change
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
- Professional licensure preferred for engineers and landscape architects, where applicable
- An advanced degree or relevant professional certification is preferred for non-engineering disciplines
- Active engagement in professional and technical organizations that support industry leadership and growth is expected
