Allentown, PA – Benesch is pleased to announce that Kenneth McClain has joined the firm as our Pennsylvania Division Manager. Ken is an accomplished engineering leader with over 30 years of experience in the highway transportation sector.

“We are thrilled to have Ken joining Benesch to lead our Pennsylvania team,” said Elizabeth Gallagher, Benesch North Regional Manager. “His extensive experience with PennDOT and local agencies across the state will serve the Division well as we continue to grow and enhance our service offerings in transportation, municipalities and private development.”

Ken’s experience spans both the public and private sector, most recently working in consulting as a client service leader responsible for comprehensive business development activities and growth strategies for transportation clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ken also brings 21 years of experience at PennDOT. Highlights from his time with the Department include leading a team of over 900 employees as the District Executive of District 6-0. He then went on to be named the Alternative Funding Program Director at the Office of the Secretary where he worked to identify sustainable funding programs. Ken also served in the Pennsylvania National Guard for over two decades.

As Pennsylvania Division Manager, Ken will guide the operations and business development efforts of our offices throughout the state. He’ll work collaboratively with Benesch leadership to support the continued growth of the Division.

“Benesch has such a strong reputation in Pennsylvania, and I am beyond excited to be joining this multidisciplinary team,” said Ken. “Not only am I looking forward to growing the Division’s transportation practice but also supporting the continued success of our development and environmental groups as they help clients improve nearly every part of their community.”
