Kevin Fitzpatrick Joins National Academy of Construction

AUSTIN, TX — Benesch President and CEO Kevin Fitzpatrick, PE has been elected to the National Academy of Construction. Established in 1999, NAC recognizes industry leaders from across the U.S. who demonstrate exceptional leadership and service with a continued commitment to innovation. Members contribute their diverse expertise to numerous initiatives aimed at furthering the industry and supporting the needs of public and private entities and other professional organizations.

In electing Kevin to the class of 2022, NAC cited him as a “recognized and visionary leader in public projects and in road and transportation building.”

Prior to becoming Benesch’s President and CEO, Kevin served as the Great Lakes Regional Manager overseeing operations and business development for the company’s Illinois Wisconsin, Michigan and Railroad Divisions. Prior to that, he served as Illinois Division Manager, responsible for one of the company’s largest profit centers. Preparing him for the Division Manager role was the time he spent managing construction for of some of the largest public projects in the City of Chicago.

Kevin’s additional industry contributions include serving as Chairman of the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association, Planning and Design Division; member of Purdue University’s Civil Engineering Advisory Council; and member of ACEC’s Design Professionals Coalition. Among Kevin’s notable achievements is being one of a select few awarded with Purdue University’s prestigious Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award.
