Greg Kuklinski Named Lehigh Valley, PA Engineer of the Year
Lehigh Valley, PA – Benesch Project Manager Greg Kuklinski has been named the 2024 Lehigh Valley Engineer of the Year by the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers – Lehigh Valley Chapter. The award recognizes Greg’s significant achievements in the industry and community. He accepted the honor at the Lehigh Valley Engineer’s Week Banquet hosted by the Lehigh Valley Engineering Council.
“I was honored and humbled to be recognized as Engineer of the Year by PSPE” said Greg. “I’m proud to be a part of this industry and look forward to continuing to help in any way I can to advance it by mentoring the next generation of civil engineers.”
For over 25 years, Greg has been serving the industry, using his transportation expertise to manage over 100 projects for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, local counties, townships and private clients. His design projects include the SR222 bypass in Trexlertown, the 15th and Ward Street Bridges in Allentown, the Union Street Bridge in Allentown and the Worthington Mill Road Bridge in Bucks County. Greg is currently serving as structure lead for the $60M Section 101 and the estimated $90M Section 103 for the SR322 widening project in Delaware County and the 3rd Party Engineer for the $38.5M Northampton County P3 Bridge Replacement project which was the first municipal P3 project in the Country.
In addition to his project work, Greg is active in several industry organizations, including American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) where he is currently a Region 2 Governors, the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), and the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE). He is particularly invested in educating and inspiring future engineers, and partners with his alma mater, Lehigh University, in various ways including as the Practitioner Adviser for the ASCE Student Chapter of Lehigh University.
