PHILADELPHIA, PA – The record-breaking repair of the damaged I-95 span in Philadelphia continues to make headlines. A recent article from Engineering News Record dives into the emergency response and what it was like for crews to work under the watchful eyes of the nation.

Shortly after the crash that caused the partial collapse of twin spans carrying I-95 traffic over Cottman Avenue, Benesch was selected by PennDOT to help with the temporary solution and the future permanent replacement. In the article, Project Manager Joe Sirignano recounts how the project team settled on a solution to get the corridor opened back up in just 12 days.
