John Carrato Named National ACEC Vice Chair

Benesch President and CEO John Carrato has been elected to serve on the Executive Committee for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). He is among three new Vice Chairs elected to a two-year term which begins in May 2019. In his new role, John looks forward to working closely with Member Organizations (MOs) to embrace the overall ACEC strategic plan, in addition to growing membership through continued outreach to all industries within the profession.

ACEC membership and involvement has been a high priority at Benesch for years with many Benesch employees providing leadership for MOs across the country. ACEC is the voice of the engineering industry in Washington, DC and throughout the nation. Its primary mission is to strengthen the business environment for members through government advocacy, political action and business education.

John previously served as President and National Director for ACEC-Illinois. Additionally, he has served on numerous state and national committees and is an ACEC Fellow. He is also a member of the Design Professionals Coalition.
