Lincoln Rail Center

The Lincoln, Nebraska Rail Center is a 60-acre rail development that serves industrial clients. This Rail Center property is owned by the Lincoln Airport Authority.

Benesch considered all aspects of the site including rail, roadways, water, sewer, communications, drainage, subsurface soils and floodplain. A phasing plan was developed for the facility. Benesch provided rail design and construction observation. Benesch was also responsible for all the civil design for the first building site.

Benesch also developed a Rail Center Master Plan. The Master Plan includes over 10,000 feet of rail, with approximately 5,000 feet constructed to date. For additional information and photos of the site, click HERE.
