Steve Drechsler Named Benesch’s Next Chief Operating Officer

GLASTONBURY, CT – Benesch is pleased to announce that Steve Drechsler, PE, VMA, has been named the firm’s next Chief Operating Officer. Over the course of his nearly 30-year career, Steve has earned a reputation as a forward-thinking technical expert with the proven ability to grow and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Prior to being named the company’s next COO, Steve spent six years as Benesch’s Connecticut Division Manager. Under Steve’s leadership, the Division continually hit their growth targets and operational KPIs while expanding their presence and market share in the state. They have established new practice areas and strengthened core services—all with an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality work for our clients.

As Chief Operating Officer, Steve will be responsible for ensuring our teams have the resources they need to deliver the best solutions for our clients. With a focus on quality and operational efficiency, he will work alongside organizational leaders to optimize our ability to scale while maintaining a strong culture and client experience.
