Benesch Scores 95 on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index

CHICAGO, IL – Benesch’s efforts to protect and promote the well-being of LGBTQ+ employees were evaluated by the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and earned an impressive 95 on the 100-point scale. From benefits to policies, engagement efforts and more, this score quantifies and validates Benesch’s efforts to build an inclusive and equitable company where our employees can thrive. This is the first time the firm has volunteered to participate in the index.
The CEI rates employers on a scale of 1-100 based on how well their policies align with protecting and promoting the well-being of LGBTQ+ employees, using the following central pillars: non-discrimination policies across business entities; equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families; supporting an inclusive culture; and corporate social responsibility. Notably, Benesch received perfect marks for offering inclusive benefits and providing an inclusive culture.
