Kevin Fitzpatrick Recognized as Chicago Titan
CHICAGO, IL – Kevin Fitzpatrick, President and CEO of Benesch, has been recognized as a Chicago Titan of Industry for 2024. The national Titan 100 program recognizes accomplished CEOs and C-level executives across several geographic regions each year who demonstrate exceptional leadership and influence in their fields. Throughout his career at Benesch, Kevin has played a pivotal role in the continued growth of the company while also contributing his talents and vision to the engineering industry at large.
Kevin’s first joined Benesch 38 years ago. Starting as a structural designer, he eventually went on to manage some of Chicago’s most significant infrastructure projects. His technical expertise and leadership abilities quickly paved the way for his advancement at Benesch. After serving as Benesch’s Illinois Division Manager for five years, Kevin was named the Great Lakes Regional Manager. In 2020, he stepped into the role of CEO and is dedicated to strengthening the firm’s position within the industry and executing the long-term vision of the company.
“I’ve had an incredible team by my side who helped me get to where I am today,” said Kevin. “I’m honored to receive this recognition and look forward to the opportunities I will have to connect with other Chicago executives over the next year.”
Kevin’s additional industry contributions include serving as Chairman of the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association, Planning and Design Division; member of Purdue University’s Civil Engineering Advisory Council; member of ACEC’s Design Professionals Coalition; and a member of the National Academy of Construction. Among his notable achievements is being one of a select few awarded with Purdue University’s prestigious Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award.
Kevin will be honored alongside a group of 100 accomplished Chicago-based executive “Titans” during the Chicago Titan 100 awards event in February 2024.
