MemFix 4 Featured in Modern Steel Construction Magazine

MEMPHIS, TN — The Tennessee Department’s I-240 MemFix 4 CMGC project is featured in this month’s Modern Steel Construction Magazine.

Designed by Benesch, the project addressed an urgent need to replace or repair four deficient structures spanning I-240 in Memphis, TN, to facilitate interstate widening.

By implementing the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) delivery method and various Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) techniques, the $54 million endeavor was completed in just 19 months.
