CHICAGO, IL – Alfred Benesch & Company is pleased to announce Randy Kaster, PE, PTOE, ENV SP as the firm’s next Chief Operating Officer.
Over the course of his career, Randy has earned a reputation as a forward-thinking, technical expert with the proven ability to grow and mentor engineering teams at local, regional and national levels. He has been active in and held leadership positions in several professional organizations including NSPE, ACEC and AREMA.
Randy joined Benesch in 2015 as Railroad Division Manager, responsible for directing the firm’s national railroad practice. Under his leadership, this division has grown to be the second largest in the company, and now serves all major rail clients.
As Chief Operating Officer, Randy will be responsible for company-wide project operations. He will work in collaboration with other firm leaders to build upon Benesch’s reputation for exceptional project management and quality across the company’s 35 offices.
Randy will assume this new role in 2020.
