Benesch led project management services including design, plan development, special provisions and engineer estimates, as well as additional professional services associated with the emergency repairs of an existing 90-inch brick sewer and the construction of two manholes.
Geotechnical services consisted of field and laboratory sampling and testing in conjunction with engineering analysis and design to predict subgrade stability for sewer construction and suitability of excavated materials for use as fill.
Benesch also performed construction observation, surveying and materials testing as needed during the repair of the 90-inch brick sewer, the construction of the 60-inch sewer, and the construction of the 72-inch and 60-inch manholes.
