Bryan is Benesch’s ADA Compliance Group Manager. He is knowledgeable in the application of both state and federal ADA codes and statutes, specifically those relating to facilities, public rights-of-way and ADA transition plans. Bryan is well-versed in mitigation and cost estimation of ADA-related deficiencies and is a Professional Engineer, certified Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner (AI/PE) through the International Code Council, and a Registered Accessibility Specialist (RAS).

He has assessed hundreds of facilities, written multiple ADA Transition Plans, supports the Maryland Transit Administration to bring it to ADA compliance and has provided support to the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority Facilities Engineering Division by completing civil engineering design reviews at various levels of completion. He assisted with development of an updated version of Florida DOT’s Accessing Transit Design Handbook, which provides guidelines and best practices for safer, more efficient, and ADA-compliant bus stops in the public rights-of way. In addition, Bryan has presented FDOT’s Accessing Transit Design Handbook trainings, as well other ADA specific trainings, to hundreds of City, County and State staff, and their consultants at events across the country.
