Randy has 37 years of expertise in transportation and transit planning, operations and management. His extensive experience spans various transit modes, including bus rapid transit, commuter rail, light rail and mobility-on-demand services. He has played a pivotal role in developing transit service redesigns, corridor studies, NEPA and FTA documentation, and applying technology to real-time transit services.
Randy was instrumental in the startup of the Virginia Railway Express commuter rail and the development of OmniLink Flex, the first technology-based flex service. Recognized as one of 15 Innovators in Transportation by the Community Transportation Association of America, he continues to pioneer technology applications in transit planning and operations.
Randy is an active member of the Transportation Research Board and the Florida Public Transit Association.
