Salt Creek Watershed

For several decades, Benesch has provided geotechnical services for many stream and channel projects within the Salt Creek Valley and its tributaries. These projects have been completed for the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District, Corps of Engineers, Lancaster County and the City of Lincoln. The Salt Creek Valley projects have included rehabbing thousands of feet of streams, channels, drainageways and embankments.

Services provided by Benesch’s geotechnical team include information reviews, geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing, stability analyses, risk assessments, recommendations permitting and construction management and testing. The many projects within Salt Creek Valley and its tributaries handled by Benesch have addressed bank reconstruction, dispersive soils neutralization, shoring design and construction, channel bottom stabilization and long-term erosion control.
