OMAHA, NE — Benesch Project Manager Erica “Sunny” Mullen was recognized as the 2022 Young Professional of the Year by the American Council of Engineering Companies Nebraska at their annual gala on April 28. The Young Professional of the Year Award strives to promote the accomplishments of young engineers under the age of 35 by highlighting their engineering contributions and the resulting impact on society.

In addition to her involvement with ACEC Nebraska, Mullen is active in the National Society of Professional Engineers, Society of Women Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Mullen currently serves on the executive board for the American Public Works Association (APWA) Nebraska Chapter.
