2025 Interns Wrap Up a Successful Summer of Learning

This summer, over 90 students joined Benesch’s internship program, gaining real-world experience on active projects and learning directly from professionals across the company. Before heading back to school, interns had the opportunity to reflect on their growth and celebrate their achievements through a collaborative final project.

 

Final Team Presentations

To close out the program, interns worked in teams on a capstone project designed to showcase the skills, insights and experiences they developed over the summer. On the final day of the program, each team presented their work to Benesch leadership in a tournament-style competition. The following teams earned top honors:

• 1^st Place: Logan Shanley, Christine Tang, Valentina Rodriguez & Sophia Helwig
• 2^nd Place: Sarah Dias, Brennen Tucker, Sofia Daloia & Wesley Gilbert
• 3^rd Place: Michael Hayes, Lily Moss, Cody Hunter, Kaden Keller & Decker Menne

 

Scholarship Recipients

In addition to the team competition, select interns were awarded scholarships for their exceptional performance throughout the summer. To apply, interns were asked to reflect on how their knowledge and skills evolved during the internship. After reviewing submissions and gathering input from managers, 71 interns were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship:
