Daniel Cook Elected President of Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers
 
			ALLENTOWN, PA—Benesch Senior Project Engineer Daniel Cook, PE has been elected President of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE) for the 2025–2026 term. Founded in partnership with the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), the PSPE is a membership organization that unites engineering professionals across Pennsylvania and provides opportunities for professional development, networking and advocacy.
Daniel joined PSPE in 2008. Over the years, he has served as President, Vice President and Chapter Delegate of the Anthracite Chapter, where he continues to volunteer each year to help with the chapter’s MATHCOUNTS Competition. At the state level, Daniel has contributed to numerous PSPE committees, serving as chairperson and co-chairperson. He has also played a key role in planning several PSPE and NSPE conferences.
With more than 19 years of experience in municipal, environmental and civil infrastructure improvements, Daniel’s work has improved the quality of life for communities across Pennsylvania and beyond. He has contributed to projects ranging from drinking water and wastewater systems to stream restoration, bridge hydraulics, streetscapes and recreation facilities.
