The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) selected Benesch to develop its 2030 Vision Plan, which bridges the gap between the LYNX Five-Year Service Plan and the Transportation Element of the METROPLAN Orlando 2035 Long Range Transportation Plan. The vision provides an implementation plan for premium transit service on 22 transit emphasis corridors throughout Central Florida. The plan includes circulator and feeder service for the emphasis corridors as well as cost projections and existing and potential revenue sources to fund the vision.
Benesch developed an action plan to bridge short- and long-range transit plans. This also involved a simple, yet effective, stakeholder and public outreach process and the development of transit-oriented land use policies.
