TIA/TIS Peer Review

The Town of Fuquay-Varina selected Benesch to provide Transportation Impact Analysis (TIA) review services within the Town.

Benesch is responsible for reviewing submitted TIA’s for compliance with Town regulations, guidelines and engineering practice standards. In addition, Benesch provides engineering recommendations on the proposed design and overall traffic modeling that would benefit/impact the Town and its residents for the future build out condition. The review and interpretation of the Synchro or other traffic models for the existing and build conditions is used in conjunction with the planning for the Town’s main corridors.

Benesch has also provided knowledge and feedback for improving town standards to enable Fuquay-Varina to maintain and possibly improve its transportation network while also accommodating development. The project is on-going with short review times and features Greg Stewart, PE serving as project manager, and Steven Cox, PE offering support to provide traffic engineering services for one of the busiest and fastest growing towns in the Triangle.
