DENVER, CO — Benesch is pleased to announce Jess Hastings, PE as the firm’s next Colorado Division Manager.

Jess came to Benesch in 2010 via our merger with Nebraska-based HWS Consulting Group. In 2013, he relocated to Denver to support the growth of our construction management group.

For the past eight years, Jess’ role as Construction Group Manager has been integral to the development of our highly successful CM team along the Front Range. His leadership has positioned Benesch as a destination for top talent in the state and a premier partner for some of our clients’ most complex construction projects. Highlights from Jess’ project history include multiple flood recovery projects for Boulder, Jefferson and Larimer Counties; CM/GC projects with the Colorado Department of Transportation and E-470; numerous public projects for the Union Pacific Railroad; and more.

Combining a broad range of technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills, Jess is known for his ability to tackle tough problems by bringing together multiple perspectives and proposing solutions that offer win-win scenarios for all parties involved.

Outside of Benesch, Jess is active in the engineering community and routinely participates in professional organizations and conferences, including the American Public Works Association (APWA), Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and the MGPEC Transportation Asset Management Task Force, among others.

As Colorado Division Manager, Jess will oversee operations and business development efforts out of our Denver office. He will assume this new role in June 2022.
