Stallings Park

Town of Stallings | Stallings, NC
park

The Town of Stallings completed its vision for this existing downtown park through a series of design renovations provided by Benesch. The park’s first phase included a new interactive fountain centered in a plaza as a focal point. In addition, there is a formal green area with arbors, pavilions, restrooms, picnic tables, new playground areas, and a band shell for concerts with an improved lawn seating and recreation area.

The second phase of the park included additional playground areas, parking, and a picnic shelter with restrooms and storage. Stormwater quality treatment was also incorporated into the design to accommodate phase one and two improvements. The final phase expanded the walking trail through a wooded area of the park, including a boardwalk, an interpretive area and a cornhole playing area with permanent boards.
