The City of Belton hired Benesch to design and Construct the Phase 1 water system improvements as recommended by the updated Water System Master Plan previously prepared by Benesch. The project addressed current and future water demands for the City over the next 20 years.

The first phase totalled $11 million and included the design and installation of a new 3.0 MG elevated storage tank, 11,700 linear feet of 16-inch transmission main, and rehabilitation work at the existing booster station and 300,000-gallon storage tank.
